As soon as I gave birth I couldn't wait to go shopping again!
sometimes being pregnant makes u feel like an old fashioned person.. I don't know why u rarely find stylish maternity wear ya3ni why does the majority of clothes have to be so blah!?
fa min il shahar il 6 wana a3ani bil hdoom.. il 7imdillah the weight that I gained was in the normal range.. oo after delivery i almost lost half of that weight fa finding clothes that fit will be easy right?
WRONG!!
wa3alaya 3alay when I went shopping the 1st time only to an9idim enna kilshay elawi3 il chabd 3alay.. went into the fitting room with 4 dresses and 3 blouses to try on and came out with ZERO items to buy! waaaai3!

nothing fits nicely ='(

O fabulous dress, where art thou?

As soon as Ramadan finishes the weddings season begins.. i have many upcoming weddings oo i need evening dresses so desperately!

but since bedayat rmuthan wana I'm not in the mood for shopping.. mali khulg za7mat il soog.. fa i'm looking online with no luck what so ever..

I had my eye on a dress oo i was waiting for net-a-porter enna enazloonah.. fa i'm checking their site eb ayam taftee7at'hum 3ashan awal ma yanzil i buy it.. fa last week i was checking 3al thahary willa lail7een ma nazalaw.. half an hour later willa it's there and sold out!!!

besmillah il ra7man il ra7eem! it was only half an hour ago that i checked their site! its not faaaair!

3ad kint em3alqa 3alaih amaal.. oo i already had the hairdo and shoes picked =(
i guess i'll have to go shopping now and atqalqa9 eb hal za7ma illi i was trying to avoid.. i have to at least have one dress in my closet before the end of rmuthan to be on the safe side =/

Spring cleaning – Part 2

Illy ektishaf il space bags is a genius! Nuq6a!

I got me some when I was on a trip abroad from a store called " the container store" which has everything that u can think of when it comes to storing and organizing ur house. Everything u can imagine is there! It's like u died and went to Monica's heaven!!



I stored the winter clothes in those space bags and vacuumed the air out of them. What was a huge bulk was neatly slimmed down oo easily stored away leaving so much space for my summer wardrobe.



I wish someone brings this shop here to Kuwait. It's just so amazing!

Seizing the opportunity

What better time to go shopping than during a football game?!
i took advantage of our team's game today to do some quick shopping in a friendly, skyhigh-straightened-hairdos free environment, i needed to go to a certain shop fa gilt aroo7 during the 1st half b3dain arja3 akamil the 2nd half.. bs i somehow ended up entering shop after shop giving my cards some exercise ;p oo ma 5alla9t ella oo ohwa bagy bas 2 min oo et5alli9 il mubara.. If it weren't for my carrier bags chan 7addy ta7asaft oo thag 5ulgy!!

on my way back home ppl were honking their horns oo emshaghleen il flashers.. kan il wath3 e7assis il wa7id bil wa6aniya =)

Lil Fishy

saw this ultra cute coin pouch at Furla.. i didn't get it coz maly 7ajah feeha.. bs now that i'm at home chinny ta7asaft!



i can always use it in my car to stylishly carry my coins.. more fun than simply putting them in the car's coin tray (or whatever they call it) oo artaab ba3ad, 9a7?!

When you feel bored..

Yesterday i had nothing to do oo i was bored fa i decided to go to Ikea.. and this is the result:



Bear in mind that I only wanted to buy a table lamp for the chalet!

I love Ikea, it's full of stuff that u think u don't need but u end up buying them anyway! bs u do find them useful eventually. what i like most in Ikea is their boxes oo their closet and drawers organizers.. here are some things that i think all of u should get coz they completely transformed my closet and now everything is so neat and in place =)



i used this in my drawer to organize my hairclips, hairbands, some of my makeup, nail polishes oo kilshay 9'3eer malah mukan!





i used this box for the extra duvet cover oo il covers illy i won't be using anytime soon.. a7fath lihum 3an il '3bar..



i used these to store il ashyaa2 illy kanaw mawjoodeen bil drawers il kbaar.. my belts, socks & il *jeejeeyat (stockings.. eshtahait aktib jeejeeyat!!).. these lil things work wonders!





as for these two sets of metal boxes, i still don't know what i'll use them for.. i just loved the patterns on them ;P
i'm sure they'll come in handy someday!

*speaking of jeejeeyat.. widdy a3arif min ay lu'3ah yat kilamt jeejee! oo laish some say jeejee while others say hailahop?!

The Dress and I

It all started last march when i was in Selfridges.. i saw this beautiful dress but being the very hesitated person that i am, i didn't know if i should get it or not fa meshait 3annah.. 2 days after i got back to Kuwait without buying it bs suddenly i had this urge inside of me .. i want that dress!

good thing my mother was still there, so i told her to buy it for me.. and guess what? it was sold out =(
i've seen the same dress in Liberty fa i asked mom to go there (maskeena mom 7abeebty mashwart'ha!) bs ham they only had one in a size smaller =/
3ad al7eeeeen '3ala zood eb 3ainy! 9ar i have to have it, i have got to have it!
i even searched the net but couldn't find it..

last may when i went on a short trip to Dubai i found it in Boutique One, my smile grew bigger and bigger as i approached it, only to have it fade away as i see that it was a size bigger.. esh hal garadah!?

last week while shopping in Istanbul, as i entered a shop there i gasped in disbelief, there it was right infront of me, there it was in all it's glory.. i almost ran towards it, searched for the tag and it was my size!! i took it off the rack almost hugging it "u'r mine! u'r mine!"

yes my dear dress.. u'r finally mine.. your here.. a few steps away, hanging proudly in my closet right this second, waiting to be worn..

oh and did i mention that i got it for half the price??! ;P

I just bought the yummiest shade of orange that ever existed!
I can't stop looking at my nails.. i'm in love ;P

Hand Cream

I bought this Cherry Blossom hand cream few days ago from L'Occitane..

i liked it's size which is perfect for handbags..it also has this wonderful smell .. it doesn't feel heavy when u put it on o it's not sticky!



i also like how it opens mithil goo6y il mustard .. easy with no fuss.. I love it!

Octopus

There is this cute litttle shop in london that is called Octopus.. it's AMAZING! i could spend an hour there and i wouldn't mind! it's a gifts & gadgets store.. selling different stuff like kitchen equipments, accessories oo 5arabee6.. eshaaawig! i feel like a child in a candy store!
